Union County, GA takes pride in our agricultural roots. In 2007, County Commissioner Lamar Paris organized a committee to oversee the development of a local market that would give our growers, big and small, a place to sell their goods. It was decided that artisans, beekeepers to bakers and potters to painters, could also sell their handmade goods. So when we boast “Homegrown and Handmade”, you know that you are purchasing products that have been produced right here in this area!
