Beautiful out of the way antique shop. It is clean, with a nice variety, and a beautiful atmosphere. Loved the back section of the store. The store owner was very curteous and helpful. She has a variety if mid century, early 1900s and vintage items. Worth your visit for sure.

Joyce was very welcoming told her it was my first visit. She informed us the owner Mrs. Biggar waa not in. Nice store mostly antiques that sent me back to my younger years & before. Joyce told us if we had any questions she'd be more then happy to help & just let her know. I'll be back when I have more time. Thank you Joyce

I've spent a lot of time in this store; it is a Lake Alfred staple, and is definitely a good spot to visit for the type of person that enjoys spending an afternoon combing through a wide assortment of items looking for treasure. Biggar's main focus is antiques; they have quite a bit of beautiful (mostly wooden) furniture, glassware, vintage cloth items such as hats and dresses, and jewelry. They also have a large collection of antique photographs and portraits that are in really good condition. Mixed in are modern items too; in the past, I've purchased cute mugs and small purses from this part of their selection, since they make great gifts. Pricing can range in this location (I bought some old photos for just a few dollars, for example), but you can expect the price to be a direct reflection of the quality of the item for sale, which tends to be quite high. However, I wouldn't reccomend letting this dissuade you from a visit, since there is just so much on sale in this location that it's likely you can find something to interest you no matter your price range.

Such a hidden gem! This is the coolest antique shop! So many lovely treasures. The salesperson was also so kind and helpful. They have adult beverages on Saturdays as well. How amazing! I picked up this adorable set of glasses, so unique! Their seasonal decor selection was very impressive too! I can?t wait to go back!

Cool place! Lots of great things to buy. We bought a modern version of the old ceramic Christmas tree and two big sewn gingerbread cushions. Go Saturday when they have refreshments.
