I'm no antiquer, but this is now my first stop when looking for a unique, reasonably-priced gift for my wife. I last week stopped in to look for a ceramic jar in which to "hide" the earrings I bought for a ninth wedding anniversary gift, found the perfect one, paid $4, and was delighted at my wife's reaction to the jar that turns out to be porcelain. She's a collector. And the ladies who own/run the Cottage are ever so nice and helpful.

Gail is as sweet as a Georgia Peach. I could spend days meandering through her shop. Even though I sold all my antiques before I moved from Virginia, I felt at home there. Prices were fair and quality is high.

This is a small treasure trove. Wander through and so many books and crannies hiding treasure for someone take home. Prices are absolutely fair. A bit of something for everyone. This place is full of wonderfully pieces waiting to find a place to call home. It is a bit crowded but take your time and you are sure to see something that makes you say ?oohhh yes?.

It is so nice to step into a place like hers - like walking into the past, each room is set up like a home, with beautiful and unique finds around every corner - and the prices are good. She packages things very carefully and securely and sends you off feeling like you have found treasures. I go once a week (most weeks). I just love this shop ??
