A small family owned business filled with character and history. The owners are delightful, and you can feel the love with each piece of furniture they restore, and in each piece selected to sell. From the moment I pulled in the parking space I was intrigued, and had I not had and appointment, probably would have spent hours looking at each piece. Please do this for yourself and stop in. The treasures are endless. ??

Dolly Archer is a lovely shop with really cool charm and things we just can't normally find in the US. It is full of old world charm re-imagined products and skilled craftsmanship. I asked for my mum's old sewing table to be refinished. It now has a new life and has never looked better. All of their products receive the same refresh and care. On top of that you will feel like family when you walk in the door.

An absolute MUST GO! This shop is beautifully curated! And they bring truly unique, one of a kind pieces from England regularly! There is something for everyone! And an amazing couple (with a killer eye for design) own the shop, and are happy to help you find the perfect items! We are fortunate to have them locally in Fort Myers! You?ve got to go!!!!!!

Be prepared for a totally new way to shop for vintage and antique furnishings! Walking into Dolly Archer's retail boutique is a delight to the senses. This isn't your typical dusty antique shop! A fresh scent fills the air, courtesy of a Dolly Archer signature candle (a eucalyptus spearmint one came home with me last week). Furniture and objet d'art are artfully styled, helping me envision how I might recreate a similar look, marrying the vintage treasures I love with the bones of my modern home. Thais and Richard are both very knowledgeable and source only authentic antiques and vintage (no repros!), so I know the furnishings I buy are from the time period in which they appear to be fashioned. Several of the furniture pieces that anchor rooms in my home are from Dolly Archer. Among my favorite purchases are two refinished dressers, a pair of restored end tables I repurposed as night stands, a rattan chair and matching table, and a truly unique wall hanging made from a vintage pinball machine. Day to day life can feel mundane but including unique pieces in my home--items that can't be procured elsewhere and have their own story to tell--brings me joy and fosters an ambience that can't be found anywhere else. Thais and Richard excel at helping patrons find just the right gift, period piece, or artwork, and they're exceptionally kind human beings to boot!

I was delighted to experience my first visit at Dolly Archers yesterday. I was greeted by a friendly gent named Richard. I asked if he was the proprietor and he smiled and said yes.As I looked at all these truly amazing treasures from England I felt I found a true diamond in the rough. I my self am half English. My father was from Derby. I have restoring a 1939 farm home in NC to my very English cottage. We?ll need I say more. I found many things such as doors and more. I truly recommend a stop and see for yourselves.

The most darling shop in Fort Myers, Florida! You?ll never leave empty handed because they are constantly bringing in new and unique finds that add the perfect touch to your home. Simply being with Thais and Richard, the owners, makes you feel so welcome! Such charm and genuineness that you keep coming back. A must visit for the owners and the spectacular items!

We have been customers of Richard and Thais for the past few years. I have to start off by saying that they are so wonderful and helpful. There is a story behind every item they sell in their store. Even the smallest trinkets have a history, and Richard remembers where he got everything! This is one of my favorite spots in all of Fort Myers. My husband and I were lucky enough to get a custom coffee table made by Richard from a beautiful table he brought back from the UK. Although they initially didn?t have the table we wanted in stock, Thais was amazing and kept us up to date on when the shipment of tables was due to arrive. Once it arrived, we were able to hand pick out our coffee table and they made sure it got finished to our exact liking. It is now my favorite piece of furniture in our whole house. We look forward to adding more beautiful pieces of furniture to our home in the coming years. We love this store. Stop on by their retail store and be sure to check out their online shop!
