First Monday Trade Days Canton is one of the most popular flea markets in the United States. It began in the 1850s when circuit judge stopped in Canton on the FIRST MONDAY of each month. Then people started to trade their goods . Since then it has grown enough to become the world's largest outdoor vendor and flea market. However, this does not happen on Mondays but rather on weekends.

The Canton First Monday Trade Days flea market occurs on the weekend before the first Monday of each month. (First Thursday - Sunday of the month). 
 

This flea market in Canton Texas is spread across over 450 acres and hosts more than 5,000 vendors. It also brings millions of people as visitors.

Since First Manday Tradedays Canton brings million of visitors you might be considering settiing up a vendor space there. Below is the essential details with the link you may want to explore. "Canton First Mondays" has 4 types of vendor spaces.
 

CIVIC CENTER : The Civic Center spaces rented monthly are only for selling antiques and collectibles.  To apply, fill out the application or Call (903) 567-6556 starting Tuesday, one week after First Monday, to check for available spaces.
 

OUTDOOR LOTS:  First-time rental reservations start on the second Tuesday after the first Monday. Check the calender for event dates. Lots are rented monthly. After Super Tuesday, you can rent Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Full payment is required when reserving in person. We accept cash, check, money order, or credit cards. Payments must be made by 5:00 p.m. on the Friday one week before the sale.
 

TRADE CENTER:  Trade Center spaces rented monthly are by application only.   You will be assigned spaces based on the product  category you sell.   Applications should be submitted to the First Monday Log Cabin Office at 800 First Monday Lane on the west side of the grounds (off FM 859).
 

 DRY CREEK LANDING: Dry Creek Landing is a 10,000 sq ft large well ventilated & Insulated "lock and leave" building. It has many circulating fans for fresh air. You can lease space annually and price based on size of the space is also reviewed annually. Merchandise should be approved by management.
