If you want to get lost for an hour or two, go to Southern Gentlemen! This shop is filled with unique and beautiful one of a kind treasures, vintage and antique furniture, glassware, and art. But the thing that makes this shop most special is the owner, Harold. He is a jewel! He is thrilled to share his vast knowledge of all things vintage. He makes everything so lovely. He is the truly the definition of a Southern Gentleman.

My second visit was as good as the first. Last year (or so) I got this neat dresser-top chest (its a guy jewelry box now ) with a cool closure that locks if you swing it around. It has so much character, no matter how old it is or where it came from. My second visit 7/2023 was another exercise in exploring this gem of Lakeland, and it's not difficult to spend an hour in here. This time I got a contemporary set of coffee table coasters; I mean you can't leave without something, right? Harold is a blast to talk with and was there both times. You really must not pass this shop by before stopping in. This is like a museum, but you can touch things and bring them home. I had mentioned to Harold how interesting the little bag was he put my coasters in. It looks like old yellowed newspaper and I said it might look neat in a frame, so guess what I did?
