The Pecan

What a delightful treat! Two of my friends and I visited The Pecan today and it was a gem. The owner was welcoming and kind and even had a pot of coffee brewing for her customers. The store is packed with all sorts of antique and vintage finds and I found the perfect pair of beautiful brass candlesticks. My friends and I look forward to returning soon! It should say a lot about this place when the most common words used in their reviews are "trash" and "hate". I always will go to places at least 2-3 times in order to give some leniency because we all have bad days. I have been here twice. When people say this place is full of trash, they truly mean it. I have seen some of the photos from reviews and was looking forward to exploring despite my fear of the outside and its hateful comments. There is literally nothing inside but rusty things that truly should not be paid for. The outside really is full of junk, and its inside is not better. There are more antique-type stores in the Keller area where you can continue to support small business. Let's keep the small businesses around in Keller that do not promote hate and make residents and visitors uncomfortable!
